The Traxxas Rally VXL is scaled after full scale cars that race in the Gymkhana type style of racing. This is where drivers must maneuver through a track already set up with all sorts of obstacles such as tires, cones & barrels.

Now if you’re thinking about getting the Traxxas Rally VXL then you’ll want to know the price point. Depending on where you purchase from you could be looking anywhere between $265 to $310 bucks. You can also get HPI Racing RC cars for that price if you look hard enough.

Traxxas Rally VXL Bodies

Ok let’s get into the nitty gritty for the more savvy rc car enthusiast. When you buy the traxxas rally it comes with a F1-inspired suspension which in turn gives the rally vxl great handling. The shocks are lower then normal giving you a low center of gravity which is great for all the turns and maneuvers you will do with this baby.

The traxxas rally vxl has oil filled GTR shocks which are specifically designed for hte gymkhana rally racing you’ll be doing… if that’s what you want… you can also rip it up in the dirt rally style but I prefer on road with this little guy.

Coming standard with the rally vxl is the awesome BFGoodrich rc car tires. These rc car wheels are designed and made for drifting and turns – they have a special compound folks.

You can also update the rc car tires if you wish with aftermarket parts, hop ups and upgrades.

If you like rc car bodies then this is your rc car. The rally vxl looks super sweet and there’s plenty of bodies for it. The gymkhana one is pretty sweet I must say. When you get the default body it also comes with decals you can add to the rally.

Don’t forget about your transmitter (the remote control) – with the traxxas rally vxl you will get a 2.4 GHz transmitter. This comes standard with traxxas products nowadays and it’s good that it does.

It has tons of programmable features, different modes and long range capabilities, you won’t be disappointed – remember to read your instructions always!

The chassis is made after the Traxxas E-Revo so you know you’re getting quality stuff here.

So if you’re like me… you’re wondering where the power comes from in the Rally. It’s an electric beast so you get the Velineon brushless power system (engine).
