HPI Baja 5B: Bigger is Better!

Built to command authority, the nitro-fuelled HPI Baja 5B continues on in HPI’s Baja line with a Baja-style cage and 460-480mm wide HPI Dirt Buster tires for surefire traction RTR.  With rear wheel drive, the Baja is 1/5 scale with double wishbone suspension with adjustable roll center, plus long suspension arms and higher ground clearance that allows you to go places the smaller-scale buggies could never hope to conquer.

Simplicity

For those uninterested in the assembly aspect of rc truggies, the Baja 5B comes RTR preassembled right out of the box. The only work necessary is to fill up the gas, add some oil, and let ‘er rip.

Power in your Corner

The massive 23cc engine is a 2 cycle piston valve gasoline engine and is air cooled. It comes with a pull starter, primer, choke, kill switch and a high performance dual element foam air filter. HPI’s Baja 5B also has a 4mm chassis with viscous torque control in the differentials. The Baja 5B can take a beating too. With 5 adjustable coil over spring shock absorbers, no rock will slow it down.

Fill ‘Er Up

The Baja 5B also has a 700cc capacity fuel tank with a 35 minute run times per tank, and runs on standard unleaded gasoline and High grade 2 cycle engine oil.

The buggy also comes with HPI’s tried and tested fail-safe FM radio system that comes with a 6V rechargeable NiCad battery.
