Traxxas Stampede: The Running of the Trucks

Shedding the slow and sluggish image that many RC monster trucks carry by default, the Traxxas Stampede comes out on top of the monster truck heap.  Because of its reinforced chassis, fiber-composite materials and incomparable ground clearance of four inches, the Stampede is undoubtedly a Monster truck.  However, its track-tuned geometrical suspension and fully-adjustable oil-filled shocks give it the speed necessary to be a contender on the racetrack.  Also featured in the Traxxas Stampede is a tough 272 transmission, an adjustable slipper clutch, a powerful Stinger 20-turn modified motor, adjustable easily-changed gear ratios, high-volume oil-filled Ultra Shocks, and… wait for it… telescoping u-joint drive shafts.

With four different ProGraphix color schemes to choose from, each scheme composed of 5 complementary colors, the Stampede offers more of a range for factory-produced customization than most other competing RC monster trucks. Plus, with brightly finished chrome wheels, your powerful monster will be sure to thrill and impress both friends and foe. This terrain-ripping monster is also available both in Nitro and electric versions, for both the serious RC enthusiast, and for people who can’t be bothered to deal with the hassle of Nitro fuel. However, there is no downplaying the power behind Nitro fuel, especially not in the case of the Stampede. Once named “Truck of the Year” by RC Car Action Magazine, the Nitro version of the Stampede is a powerful contender among RC monster trucks.

Starting is EZ

Like the Traxxas Revo and E Maxx, the Stampede also comes with EZ Start technology to give the ease of a push-button electric start for your RC car, while the system concurrently monitors the essential inner-workings of your RC car and troubleshoots for possible issues.
